Does Rainhaven need an account? No. There is no sign-up, login, or personal data collection. Open the app and tap a sound.
Does it work offline? Yes. All sounds are bundled with the app and play without an internet connection.
Will audio keep playing when I lock my phone? Yes. Start a sound, lock your device, and it keeps playing in the background.
How does the sleep timer work? Tap the Timer button, pick a duration (15 min to 8 hours), and the audio fades out automatically when time is up.
Can I play more than one sound at once? Yes. Tap additional tiles to layer sounds — for example rain plus thunder plus wind.
Why do I see an ad? A single small banner ad keeps the app free. It never interrupts playback.
The audio stopped unexpectedly — what do I check? Make sure Silent Mode isn't muting media, that no other app took over audio (music, calls, videos), and that Low Power Mode isn't restricting background activity. Reopening the app and tapping the sound again resolves most cases.
Sound content
Rainhaven's audio is original or licensed public-domain (CC0) recordings. All content is bundled with the app; nothing is streamed and no third-party accounts are involved.
Privacy
Rainhaven does not require an account and does not collect personal information. The only third-party service in the app is Google AdMob, which serves a single banner ad. For ad-related data practices, see Google's privacy policy.
